Having lived and worked in the US, Saudi Arabia, Rome, Paris, London, Munich, Hong Kong, Perugia, Belgrade, and presently traveling in and out of China to hold graduate seminars, one could say that I have not been a homebody.

My career started out in sales and management and I worked for many years for other people. When I arrived in Serbia, I began to write more and I worked for several magazines and newspapers, writing and editing and remembering how much I liked the written word. Today I am a brand consultant with my own company, Notapipe Brand Consulting, and I conduct graduate seminars for universities in China, France, Nigeria, and elsewhere on brand marketing, luxury brands, and a variety of other topics.

But throughout all this, and despite all evidence to the contrary, I have always felt the vocation to write. For myself, not as an assignment for anyone else.

This is who I am, in brief. The story is long and has many twists and complicated turns, but those details will perhaps emerge at some future time. The art of poetry, said Horace, is not revealing everything.  But however it comes out, it usually does in time – details and all.
